About Hannah
From a young age, I’ve known that photography is my gift. My experience connecting with others, a curiosity for the human spirit, and passion for creativity have led me to photography. My approach is intuitive and compassionate, which yields more authentic images that are unique every single time. It is all about bringing forth the beauty that’s already there, and less about strict posing. None of that static time where you’re asking what to do with your hands or awkwardly wondering if you’re “doing it right.” Whether it’s your first time hiring a photographer or tenth, I will put you at ease and most importantly, make the experience fun and memorable.
What it comes down to is that I care about you. I’ve been in this business for over a decade and throughout that time I have learned something invaluable. Together we can create some serious photo magic and that happens with: trust. I don’t just show up and clock-in for our shoot. Knowing more about you and what makes you tick, allows me to create images that are genuinely you. We’ll spend time getting to know each other and really making sure we’re the right fit. I’m there each step of the way from planning, to photo delivery, and beyond. This is the recipe for making stunning photographs and getting those organic shots that make you feel something.
Skills & Education
My skills as a photographer are backed by my Bachelor's degree in Photography from the University of Central Florida. I received a minor in Journalism, and have incorporated both of these disciplines into my wedding, portrait, and lifestyle work in Orlando, Florida and beyond. I have a deep passion and appreciation for documentary photography and find that these combined skills are incredibly powerful when telling the story of people and events. In the past I have taught wedding photography courses for the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in Tampa, FL. My work has been featured in numerous galleries including SNAP! Orlando and the Orlando Museum of Art.
I think we're most creative when we pursue our true selves. At my core, I am an artist. I find and seek inspiration in architecture, textiles, old stuff, juicy light, music, spirituality, the natural world, and ultimately: human connection. I recognize the privilege I have being able to make photography my livelihood and really do consider this job an honor. Since becoming a mother to my son in 2023, I have slowed my business down but am picking things back up! I find great inspiration in motherhood and witnessing the world through my son’s eyes. When I'm not photographing, you'll find me soaking in all my time with my Crosby and husband, Kevin. I'm a Deadhead, lover of black cold brew, nature explorer, and very proud Orlando resident.
